Over the coming months, we will be adding new functionality and features to the Enforcement Data site. Here is our roadmap:

1. BUILD A DATA CATALOG [DONE]

2. ADD NEW SEARCH CRITERIA
  • Search by Company Name [DONE]
  • Additional Search granularity: Violation by Act, Violation Type, Mine ID, Accident, Injury, etc.

3. USABILITY [DONE]

4. LAUNCH MASHUP COMPETITION OPPORTUNITIES
  • Invite the Public to find innovative ways of using DOL’s enforcement data to promote workers
    safety and protect workers’ rights.

5. COLLABORATION
  • Integrate the Enforcement Data Warehouse with other Federal and State enforcement agencies
    data systems (i.e. EPA’s enforcement data system).
